Saffron Lassi

  • Ingredients

    grated Whole Nutmeg, organic
    1 pinch Saffron, organic
    500ml natural yogurt
    1 tbsp caster sugar
    1 tbsp honey
    few drops vanilla extract
    300ml cold water
    ice

    Preparation

    Soak the saffron in 2 tablesppons of boiling water and allow to steep.

    Put the yoghurt, sugar, honey, saffron and saffron water, nutmeg and vanilla essence into a large jug. Gradually add the water or milk and whisk until all the liquid is absorbed. Keep chilled in the fridge until ready to serve. Serve poured over ice.
