Indian Karahi Kit

Our Karahi is based on a very popular dish of North Indian origin. Normally made with minced lamb, it is excellent with beef mince too. Karahi (named after the wok like pan) is a quick cook dish. Rather than a curry with lot of gravy this is a moist curry that is best enjoyed with rice or flat breads, accompanied by a cucumber and yogurt salad.

A wonderful meatless alternative can also be made with a variety of mixed vegetables such as aubergine, green beans, cauliflower and/or pumpkin and potato.

This kit contains: 2 sets of step by step measured spice sachets (numbered 1 to 3); enough for 2 meals for 4 people, or 1 meal for 8 people; a recipe instruction card; and a shopping list of the fresh ingredients. Designed to give you maximise results with minimum effort.

Kits ingredients: cinnamon, cardamom, gloves, bay leaf, fenugreek, ginger, garlic, coriander, chilli, turmeric, tomato, sugar, salt, garam masala (nutmeg, gloves, cinnamon, cardamom), dried coriander leaves.
