Malaysian Rendang Curry Kit

This is a rich dark slow cook coconut based curry normally made with beef, lamb or duck, originally from Indonesia but popularised in Malaysia and Singapore. Moderately spicy and intensely aromatic with lemongrass, galangal and star anis. Longer cooking time produces a mellow coconut flavour less pronounced than that found in Thai curries.
Preparation is quick and easy, but a bit of patience is needed while it cooks. But hand on heart you will not be disappointed.


This kit contains: 2 sets of step by step measured spice sachets (numbered 1 to 4); enough for 2 meals for 4 people, or 1 meal for 8 people; a recipe instruction card; and a shopping list of the fresh ingredients. Designed to give you maximise results with minimum effort.
