Mulled Cider

Not everyone is a fan of mulled wine, and even if you are sometimes a change such as this is delightful.

4-5 crushed Green Cardamom pods
3 broken in half Cinnamon quills
6 stud the clementines Whole Cloves
1 good pinch Ground Ginger
1 bottle of dry cider
1 tbsp dark sugar
3 Clementines halved
2 Bay leaves
A good splash rum


Heat a saucepan, add the cider followed by the spices, sugar, the clementine halves studded with cloves, and the bay leaves. Heat until hot but not boiling. Add the rum and take off the heat.

Serve immediately
